On the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attack on our nation, let us remember how churches opened their doors in the days following, so that we might gather in prayer. Resurrection Sanctuary will be open on Friday from 7:00am until 9:00am. Everyone is welcome to come and pray for our country.
There will also be Prayer Chapel hours from noon until 2:00pm.
Calvary Chapel of Nipomo will be hosting a marriage seminar at Resurrection Sanctuary on August 21 and August 22.
The cost is $20 per couple, and includes the book, “Spiritual Warfare in Marriage” — as well as dessert. Please pre-register by August 10 in order to get a copy of the book.
For more information, email Pastor Rick Jenkins.
We are in the process of praying about, and planning, our first prayer watch. Hopefully it will turn into an ongoing event.
It will be scheduled later on Thursday nights, beginning either at 8:30 or 9:00 pm. We realize this is later than churches tend to hold prayer meetings, but we want this time of prayer to be available for those who find it difficult to meet earlier in the evening. So, if you work later — or if you need to tuck the kids in bed first — this may be the perfect time for you to join us in prayer!
Check our Nipomo Prayer Watches and Upcoming Events pages for more details.
We have decided not to schedule this on Thursday evenings, but in the mornings. Stay tuned for more details about when we will be starting evening prayer watches!
