9/11

On the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attack on our nation, let us remember how churches opened their doors in the days following, so that we might gather in prayer. Resurrection Sanctuary will be open on Friday from 7:00am until 9:00am. Everyone is welcome to come and pray for our country.

There will also be Prayer Chapel hours from noon until 2:00pm.

The latest news from Resurrection Sanctuary

Things are happening!

  1. We have welcomed a new church fellowship to our building. King’s Covenant has been meeting here on Sunday afternoons since the beginning of August.
  2. We are excited to be opening up for two different prayer times on Thursdays! One will be a time of intercession in the morning, and the other will be a time for quiet prayer and reflection beginning at noon. See our Prayer Page and our Upcoming Events for more information.
  3. We are planning an evening prayer watch/set, but it will probably begin as a monthly, rather than weekly, event. Stay tuned!

In the works

We are in the process of praying about, and planning, our first prayer watch. Hopefully it will turn into an ongoing event.

It will be scheduled later on Thursday nights, beginning either at 8:30 or 9:00 pm. We realize this is later than churches tend to hold prayer meetings, but we want this time of prayer to be available for those who find it difficult to meet earlier in the evening. So, if you work later — or if you need to tuck the kids in bed first — this may be the perfect time for you to join us in prayer!

Check our Nipomo Prayer Watches  and Upcoming Events pages for more details.

We have decided not to schedule this on Thursday evenings, but in the mornings. Stay tuned for more details about when we will be starting evening prayer watches!
